This new camera technology is based on a periscope camera architecture that uses a seven-piece lens for better image output.
It comes with an autofocus and optical stabilization module and uses a high-precision motor control integrated circuit (IC) to provide versatile mid-range focus images.

Oppo's new hybrid optical zoom features a periscope-like camera module that allows the focal length to be adjusted from 85mm to 135mm, along with f / 3.3 and f / 4.4 aperture.
Optical zoom camera technology is further enhanced with a combination of multi-focus image fusion, multi-camera field of view alignment, and a super scoring algorithm.
There's also a large image sensor of up to 32 MP and four-in-one pixel binning technology. The effect is a Full HD experience for capturing images from near and far.

It also offers greater expansion potential for the development of wide-format and wide-angle imaging technologies.
According to the company, hybrid optical zoom technology provides a crisp and clear experience (lossless images) at all focal lengths and allows consumers to feel what you see is what you get in photography.
New camera technology is expected to appear in smartphones in the future. Given that the company also recently launched its latest 125W fast charging technology for smartphones, it's possible that we will see all of these features in Oppo's future flagship devices.
For now, there is no news when this feature will debut on smartphones.
